You’ll also have the opportunity to visit ancient monasteries such as the Thiksey Monastery and the Hemis Monastery, which are steeped in history and offer a glimpse into the region’s rich cultural heritage.
One of the highlights of the Srinagar Leh cycling expedition is the chance to cross the mighty Khardung La Pass, which is one of the highest motorable passes in the world at an elevation of 5,359 meters (17,582 feet) above sea level. This challenging ascent offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
