Embarking on a cycling expedition from Rishikesh to New Tehri and back offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and tranquility of this region in a truly immersive way. As you pedal through the picturesque landscapes, you'll witness the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the majestic river Ganga, all while immersing yourself in the rich culture of this region.

Rishikesh, a destination steeped in spiritual significance, has long been a haven for devotees and pilgrims seeking solace and purification in the holy waters of the river Ganga. This serene town offers a respite from the chaos of the world, with its tranquil ghats and ashrams providing the perfect setting for introspection and self-discovery.

Your journey will take you through the heart of Uttarakhand, passing through quaint villages, lush forests, and scenic valleys. Along the way, you'll have the chance to interact with the friendly locals, sample the delicious local cuisine, and soak in the peaceful ambiance of the region.

Upon reaching New Tehri, you'll be greeted by its charming streets and vibrant markets, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the locals. Take some time to explore the town, visit its historic landmarks, and learn about its rich history and culture.

After a rejuvenating stay in New Tehri, you'll begin your journey back to Rishikesh, retracing your path through the stunning landscapes and serene surroundings. As you pedal back, you'll carry with you memories of a truly unforgettable adventure, filled with moments of peace, serenity, and self-discovery.


Please Note: Participants who have not opted for transportation can meet the group at the stopping points to join in the activities. This way, everyone can enjoy the journey at their own pace and still be part of the group experience.

Stay in Rishikesh: Hotel Stay(3 Star property)

Assemble at the boarding point, where you’ll be greeted by our Trip Captain and our dedicated on-ground team.

After a warm welcome, our Trip Captain will lead a brief introduction session.

Our journey towards Rishikesh begins at 6:30 AM.

On the way we will take a break for breakfast at Khatauli.

Around 12 PM, we will arrive in Haridwar, a city steeped in mythology and spirituality. 

Then, we will visit  Har Ki Pauri, one of the holiest ghats on the banks of the Ganges. The group can take a dip in the sacred waters.

After the refreshing dip, we will have lunch and start our  journey towards Rishikesh, the 'Yoga Capital of the World.'

Arriving in Rishikesh around 3 PM, we’ll check into our hotel. You’ll have some time to freshen up and relax before we embark on our evening’s highlight.

At 5 PM, we’ll head to the banks of the Ganges River to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony.

After the ceremony, we’ll return to the hotel for a delightful HI-Tea.

At 7 PM, it’s time for rider registration. Our team will guide you through the process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed for everyone’s safety. Plus, you’ll receive your rider kits filled with all the essentials you’ll need for an amazing cycling experience.

Then, we will have a briefing session. We’ll go over the details of the cycling tour, including the route, elevation, and important safety tips, so you feel confident and prepared for the journey ahead.

Then we will wind the day with delicious dinner and get a good night’s sleep to tackle the adventures of the next day.

Stay in Tehri: Hotel Stay(4 Star)

The day starts early with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, fueling the cyclists for the day’s adventure.

The route from Rishikesh to New Tehri is approximately 70 kilometers, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. 

After breakfast all riders ride marshall assembled and flag off ceremony happened.

The road winds through quaint villages, lush forests, and alongside the glistening waters of the Ganges, providing a truly immersive experience of the region’s natural beauty.

Our team will be on hand with hydration, snacks, and any technical support you might need. 

Halfway through our adventure, we’ll take a well-deserved break for lunch and a chance to recharge ourselves.

 After Lunch, we will be back on the road, ready to conquer the rest of the journey.

A refreshing welcome drink will be served once we reach the hotel. 

Feel free to check into your rooms and take some time to refresh. 

Then we will gather for Hi-Tea and after enjoying a delicious dinner, it’s time to rest.

Get a good night’s sleep and wake up refreshed and ready to tackle the adventures of the next day.

Have a hearty breakfast, and get ready to embark on the journey from New Tehri to Rishikesh. 

The day promises another day of scenic beauty and thrilling cycling adventures.

The route back to Rishikesh covers the same approximately 70-kilometer stretch, but the experience is entirely different as the cyclists now have a deeper appreciation for the terrain and the challenges it presents.

The familiar sights and sounds of the road bring a sense of nostalgia, reminding them of the incredible journey they’ve undertaken.

Throughout the ride, our support team will be on hand to provide hydration, snacks, and any assistance you might need.

After arriving at the hotel, delight in a refreshing welcome drink. 

Temporary rooms will be available for freshening up and changing clothes, shared among the riders. 

We’ll then gather for a felicitation ceremony, followed by a delicious dinner. Finally, we’ll depart for our homes, carrying cherished memories and a profound sense of accomplishment.

As this ride is designed to explore mountains so only 2 types are cycles are allowed, MTB cycles or MTB focused hybrid cycles with minimum tire width of 700*45C. No other type of bike is allowed like road or rigid fork hybrid to ensure the safety of each rider.

Yes, we do provide cycles on Rent. We have Polygon Cascade 4 available for rent. 

As we have multiple cycles to offer on rent for all sizes ranging from S to XL, so you will get the cycle of the right frame size for your ride.


We give only cycles to ride all other mandatory items and accessories you want on the cycle you have to bring yourself.


You will get the cycle on rent a day before the start of the ride. You will get your cycle in the same hotel where you will be staying on day one of the tour.

Pleasant – yes morning and evening are cold for evening a jacket / pullover is advised.

Yes, the plan is this but as we have seen sometimes when people are about to reach like 4 – 5 km left it gets dark so at that point lights are mandatory and required.
